An established and growing manufacturer in the industrial sector is seeking a dedicated candidate to join their team in Braintree on their morning shift. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality production output while adhering to safety and efficiency standards. Additionally, this job is temp to perm. Once you finish your training, the shift will be changing to afternoons and the salary will increase.
Key Responsibilities:
*Run equipment to turn raw materials into finished components
*Use tools to cut, shape, join, or finish materials
*Carry out tasks like cleaning, deburring, or surface preparation
*Assemble parts
*Comply with regulations like COSHH
*Ensure each component is aligned and secured correctly
*Pick components from trays or bins
*Visual checking and inspections of parts
Requirements:
*Previous manufacturing experience is essential.
*Manual handling
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Competence in reading technical drawings is advantageous though not mandatory
*Exceptional attention to detail to ensure product quality.
*Experience with SAP or using handheld scanners is desirable but not not essential.
*Ability to work afternoon shifts
Location: Braintree
Salary: £12.71 ( £15.25 after training will be complete and change to evening shift )
Training hours: Monday to Friday09:45-18:15
Hours after training is complete : Monday to Thursday: 16:00-00:00 and Friday 15:00-22:00
