We are seeking a Landscape Operative to join our team on a temporary basis for a minimum of two months. This role involves maintaining the aesthetics of local community spaces by cutting grass and trimming hedges. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, a clean driving licence, and familiarity with using ride-on mowers and other landscaping equipment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Cutting grass and maintaining lawns across various council properties.
*Trimming hedges and performing general garden maintenance to ensure a neat and tidy appearance.
*Operating ride-on mowers and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
*Ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
*Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience as a Landscape Operative.
*Clean driving licence.
*Experience with ride-on mowers and other landscaping equipment.
*Ability to start work next week.
*Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
