Are you an inspirational English Teacher with full Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)?
We have an exciting long-term opportunity available at a highly respected, supportive Secondary School in Blackburn starting this September. If you have the subject expertise, drive, and dedication to commit to a stable, long-term role and deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE), this is the perfect match for you!

The Role: Driving Success in English EducationThis long-term role is vital for ensuring consistency and high-quality learning throughout the academic year. You will take ownership of the curriculum for your classes, contributing to a vibrant, inclusive, and academically challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities*Inspire & Educate: Plan and deliver high-impact lessons in English Language and English Literature across KS3 and KS4.
*Monitor Growth: Assess and report on student progress, providing targeted feedback to prepare students effectively for their GCSEs.
*Positive Environment: Cultivate a focused classroom culture, maintaining excellent standards of behavior and participation.
*Team Integration: Work collaboratively with a passionate Blackburn-based English faculty to align with departmental goals.
Requirements*Full Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) alongside a relevant degree in English or a related field.
*Substantial experience teaching English up to Key Stage 4 (GCSE level).
*A strong desire to commit to a long-term school placement and the wider school community.
*A current Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one immediately).
What We Offer*Premium Daily Rates: £150 - £220 per day (based on your experience).
