An excellent opportunity has arisen for a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at a prestigious luxury hotel in Newmarket.
Working with fresh, seasonal ingredients, you’ll support the senior kitchen team in delivering exceptional food across the restaurant, private dining, and events operations. This role is ideal for an experienced Chef de Partie ready to step up or an established Junior Sous Chef looking for their next challenge.
The Role
*Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the daily running of the kitchen
*Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes to consistently high standards
*Help train and develop junior members of the brigade
*Assist with stock control and food cost management
*Ensure excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
About You
*Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie
*Background in a quality hotel, Rosette, or fresh-food kitchen
*Passion for fresh ingredients and high standards
*Strong organisational and communication skills
*Positive attitude and team-focused approach
