*Location: Plymouth
*Salary: £95 per day
*Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Join a welcoming primary school in Plymouth as an SEN Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for someone dedicated and enthusiastic about supporting children with additional needs across KS1 and KS2, helping them access learning and reach their full potential.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.
*Support the delivery of phonics sessions and early reading interventions.
*Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons to suit individual needs.
*Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
*Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience working with primary school-aged children.
*Patient, nurturing, and proactive approach.
*Good communication and teamwork skills.
*A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
Desirable:
*Previous SEN experience.
*Drivers licence
