Job Description:
Full job descriptionOur client is seeking a Logistics Assistant to join their friendly operations team in Huntingdon.
This is a part-time role for an initial period of 6 months.
Key responsibilities include:
*Processing incoming goods and preparing customer orders for dispatch
*Coordinating deliveries, collections and courier services
*Supporting customer returns and repair processes
*Liaising with customers and suppliers to provide updates on orders and deliveries
*Assisting with stock control and inventory management activities
*Maintaining accurate records and completing general administrative tasks
*Supporting the wider operations team to ensure a smooth and efficient service
The successful candidate:
*Has strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
*Enjoys working in a team environment
*Is proactive and able to manage their own workload
*Has strong communication and customer service skills
*Is comfortable using Microsoft Office applications
*Takes a positive and flexible approach to work
*Previous experience in logistics, shipping, customer service, administration or operations would be advantageous, but is not essential.
