Full job descriptionA highly respected, prestigious wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to support a dedicated book of private clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with sophisticated UK and international clients and wants a position offering technical depth, client interaction, and long-term progression.

The Opportunity
As a Paraplanner, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality, compliant, and well-documented wealth planning advice. You’ll work closely with advisers, act as a technical subject-matter expert, and support clients across a wide range of planning scenarios.
This is not a pure back-office role, you’ll be involved in client meetings, technical discussions, and the full advice lifecycle, gaining visibility across complex client relationships.
The Role
*Suitability report writing - clear, compliant, technically robust
*Wealth planning research for UK & international clients
*Completing annual suitability review letters
*Ensuring clients understand the key features of the advice provided
*Producing cashflow modelling and long-term planning analysis
*Reviewing client risk-profiling reports
*Supporting advisers with technical analysis and case guidance
*Attending client meetings, taking notes, and following up on actions
What They’re Looking For
*Proven experience as a Paraplanner within wealth management
*Level 4 Diploma (essential) with desire to achieve Chartered or Certified status
*Ideally 3–4 years’ experience in a similar role
*Strong organisational and time-management skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication
*High level of discretion and professionalism
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
*Ability to work independently and collaboratively
*Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
*Comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders and external visitors
Skills & Experience
*Strong understanding of the financial planning process and compliance
*Ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate work first time
*Experience of report writing and technical analysis
*Proficient with financial planning tools and modelling software
*Confident acting as a technical point of contact for clients and providers
