What We Need From You:
*Experience: Previous experience working with young people (e.g., in schools, youth clubs, coaching, or mentoring).
*Skills: Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build relationships with teenagers.
*Traits: A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting different learning styles.
*You must hold (or be willing to process) an Enhanced DBS check and have the right to work in the UK.
Key Duties:
*Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small focused groups during lessons.
*Helping the class teacher prepare learning resources and set up the classroom.
*Keeping students engaged, focused, and motivated throughout the school day.
*Helping manage classroom behaviour to maintain a calm learning environment.
*Giving encouragement to build student’s confidence, self-esteem, and independence.
*Offering feedback to teachers on how individual students are progressing.
