SJC Partners is recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm in York for a Post Completions Assistant to join their busy property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual to join a supportive legal environment, assisting with the post-completion stages of residential property transactions.

The Role You will be responsible for supporting the conveyancing team with all post-completion matters, ensuring files are accurately finalised and compliant.
Key duties include:
*Submitting and managing Land Registry applications
*Dealing with SDLT submissions and returns
*Handling requisitions from HM Land Registry
*Updating case management systems accurately
*Preparing and organising completion documentation
*Liaising with fee earners, clients, and third parties as required
*Ensuring all post-completion tasks are processed in a timely and compliant manner
About You The ideal candidate will have:
*Previous experience in a conveyancing or post-completions role
*Strong administrative and organisational skills
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Good understanding of the conveyancing process (desirable)
*Confident communication skills
*Ability to work effectively in a busy, deadline-driven environment
