Full job descriptionThe Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Winwick area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to join the team.
New pass welcome*


Shifts: Shifts run across Sunday to Friday (occasional Saturday) - drivers must be available to work Sundays and Fridays.


Hours: Between 22:00pm - 23:59pm starts
Pay Rate: £16.56 per hour PAYE, rising to £17.26 after 12 weeks
Location: Winwick, WA2
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate


The role:
*Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
*Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
*Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
*Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
*Full UK driving license with Class 1 (category C&E).
*Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
*No more than 6 points on license (minor offences only).
*Full understanding of WTD legislation.
*Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
*Excellent communication skills.
*A safety-first mindset.
