Job Role of the Machine TechnicianA fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed by an experienced Machine Technician has come to the forefront. You will be responsible for carrying out machine maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance activities across a range of production equipment, ensuring maximum uptime, reliability, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting production targets and driving continuous improvement across the site.
Sector – Manufacturing
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Machine Technician*Previous machine maintenance experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
*Hands-on experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.
*Ability to diagnose and rectify mechanical faults on production machinery.
*Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements for the Machine Technician*Proven machine maintenance and fault-finding experience.
*Good mechanical maintenance knowledge.
*Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
*Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
Desirable Requirements for the Machine Technician*Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering).
*Experience working within food, FMCG, packaging, or high-volume manufacturing environments.
*Basic electrical fault-finding knowledge.
