Full job descriptionElevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting a fantastic business in Rotherham as they look to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to develop their finance career within a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing purchase ledger invoices and ensuring accurate coding
*Matching, batching and reconciling supplier invoices
*Assisting with sales ledger duties and raising invoices
*Performing bank reconciliations
*Supporting credit control activities and monitoring outstanding payments
*Assisting with payment runs
*Processing employee expenses
*Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
*Providing support with month-end procedures
*Assisting the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative and accounting duties
About You
*Some experience within an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar finance role
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Good communication and organisational skills
*Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
*Competent user of Microsoft Excel
*A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
