We are seeking a dependable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client’s team based in the Hatfield area. Key Responsibilities
*Safely and punctually deliver goods to a variety of destinations, including stores, residential addresses, and construction sites.
*Assist with the loading and unloading of the vehicle as required.
*Carry out routine vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
*Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous manner during client interactions.
*Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
*Demonstrate flexibility and dedication to completing assigned routes efficiently and safely.
Candidate Requirements
*At least 12 months’ recent experience driving an HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
*Valid UK Driving Licence, full CPC qualification, and a DIGI tachograph card.
*Capability to perform manual handling tasks safely.
*Strong customer service skills with a professional and approachable demeanour.
*No more than six penalty points on licence; endorsements such as DR, DD, or IN are not accepted.
*Possession of appropriate PPE, including high-visibility clothing and safety boots.
Employment Details & Remuneration
*Working hours: Monday to Friday, starting at 07:30, totalling 47.5 hours per week; no weekend work.
*Holiday entitlement: 28 days per year, inclusive of bank holidays.
*Free on-site parking available.
*Location: Hatfield.
*Contract: Permanent, full-time position.
