Location: Gloucester
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our expanding engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a heavy food/FMCG environment with a stable days-based shift pattern.
The RoleYou will be part of a team of three engineers, responsible for maintaining and improving a range of mechanical and some electrical equipment within a busy production environment.
We are ideally looking for a Multi skilled Engineer with strong fault-finding and preventative maintenance experience.
Key Responsibilities*Maintenance and repair of conveyors, motors, pumps, belts and gearboxes
*Working with hydraulics and pneumatics
*Fault finding on single and 3-phase systems
*Working with sensors and relays
*Maintenance of roll briggs, packaging machinery, silos
*Servicing and repair of blowers, balers and compressors
*Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
*Ensuring minimal downtime and efficient production output
About You*NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (or equivalent)
*Strong background within heavy food manufacturing or FMCG
*Proactive, reliable and team-focused
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Package*Salary: £56,800
*Pension: 3% employer / 5% employee
*Holidays: 22 days + Bank Holidays
*Hours: Double Days (6-3 and 1-10)
