Are you highly organised, detail-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment? Elevation Recruitment Group are looking for a proactive Purchasing Coordinator to support procurement and supply chain operations, ensuring materials and services are delivered efficiently and on time.
This is a key role within the supply chain function, where you’ll help maintain smooth production flow by managing purchasing activity, supplier communication, and system accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
*Raise, amend, and manage purchase orders in line with procurement processes
*Ensure purchase orders are acknowledged and supplier confirmations are aligned to business needs
*Monitor supplier lead times and delivery schedules, escalating issues where necessary
*Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve delivery, stock, and invoice queries
*Maintain consignment stock levels and ensure system data is accurate and up to date
*Support stock optimisation by identifying excess materials and coordinating redistribution
*Work closely with logistics teams to ensure delivery bookings are correctly arranged
*Maintain supplier records, product codes, and approved material listings
*Support finance with invoice matching and statement reconciliation
*Produce regular reports including month-end procurement updates and supplier performance data
About You
*Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
*Excellent organisational and time management skills
*Confident communicator, able to work with suppliers and internal stakeholders
*Proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability
*Comfortable working with systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
*Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
