Job Description:
Full job descriptionResponsible for transporting goods and deliveries. This in NOT a multidrop role. You will be delivering large items to specific customers with vehicles up to 7.5 tons.
Planning delivery schedules with management and unloading deliveries strapping of own goods & loading with Counterbalance forklift.(Training will be given)
Duties include:
*Operating an assigned vehicle weighing up to 7.5 tonnes but may also be smaller vehicle from time to time due to the nature of sites.
*Planning own delivery and delivery schedules to arrive on site as instructed by production manager.
*Working with Production manager to identify and plan the best route to take to arrive on site.
*Ensuring the loads are safe and properly secured.
*Completing all delivery paperwork and keeping the logbook up to date.
Qualifications and Experience
*Up to date CPC license with at least 2 years is essential,
*Previous experience with 7.5-ton vehicles
*Up to date tacho card
*Previous experience of working for a production-based organization.
*Willingness to accept responsibility for one’s own work.
*Counterbalance forklift license desirable.
*Should be confident in communicating with others.
*Retention of information is essential.
*Attention to detail and diligence is essential.
*Be able to multitask.
*Must be reliable, honest and willing to contribute to all areas.
*Must be a team player.
*Full training will be provided.
*Availability to do morning overtime in this role is a must as most deliveries are required on site by 8am but ability to finish early if worked hours have been achieved.

06:30-15:00 Mon-Friday
