Full job descriptionThis role is kind of like the best of both worlds… A firm of Accountants large enough that you have heard of them but small enough where you still feel part of a team.
The role is similar as well, you will be overseeing and mentoring juniors but still responsible for your own clients. … Very much a good mix of both reviewing, mentoring and ’doing’ with the autonomy that goes with it.
The company has expanded over the last 18 months and this is a newly created role to add structure to the team.
You can work from home and the office with a split that suits for you… When you are in the office though, they have flexi-time, so you can shape your own working hours to start later or finish earlier.
What they need is someone who has experience of working at a Senior level within Practice, ideally someone with a mix of both accounts and audit.
In larger firms, can become a little bit restrictive, you either cover audit, accounts or tax. … You do your bit and then another Department does theirs.
Not here, they like people in the team to cover more rounded roles. The split here will be roughly equal parts between the three.
You’ll get a better work life balance with almost no need to cover any overtime and there will be less time spent away from home, all their clients are based in or around Northamptonshire.
