Full job descriptionPackage Description: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our CQC-registered Brook Street Learning Disability respite service in Bexley.
This is an exciting opportunity to take full operational leadership of a vital service, inspiring and developing your team to deliver outstanding, person-centred care. Working in close partnership with the London Learning Disability Locality Manager, you will play a key role in driving quality, safety, and continuous improvement, ensuring the people we support receive the highest standard of care in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Your key responsibilities include:*Delivering Outstanding Care
Ensuring individuals receive personalised support that promotes independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion, with care plans that reflect their evolving needs.
*Driving Quality & Compliance
Overseeing CQC registration and ensuring the Brook Street service meets all regulatory and statutory requirements, maintaining safe, effective, and well-led services at all times.
*Leading & Developing Teams
Providing day-to-day leadership to the staff team, ensuring effective management, clear direction, and ongoing support to maintain high standards of care and support delivery.
*Ensuring Accountability
Managing safeguarding concerns, incidents, and complaints, while working closely with the Locality Manager to drive continuous improvement and ensure ongoing compliance across the service.
What We’re Looking For:*Previous experience as a Registered Manager is highly desirable.
*Demonstrable experience of working within a respite service, ideally within the Learning Disability sector.
*Strong understanding of the adult social care sector and relevant regulatory frameworks, including CQC requirements.
*Proven leadership and management experience with the ability to effectively oversee a service and staff team.
*Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
*A flexible approach to working hours to meet the needs of the service.
*A minimum of 12 months remaining on your Right to work in the UK.
