You will play a key role in managing the day-to-day IBA and client money activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong operational control across the business.Working closely with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions, this role offers both hands-on responsibility and the chance to influence process improvements within a growing finance function.
*Ownership of IBA processes including cash allocation, insurer settlements, and client money management
*Performing and reviewing reconciliations across client money and insurer accounts
*Supporting and contributing to Client Money Calculations in line with FCA CASS 5 requirements
*Managing aged balances and resolving unallocated cash issues
*Liaising with brokers, underwriters, and internal finance teams across UK and overseas offices
*Supporting audits and maintaining strong financial controls
*Identifying and implementing process improvements within IBA operations

What you’ll need to succeed
*Proven experience within an IBA / Insurance Accounting role
*Background within an insurance broker, MGA, or reinsurance environment
*Confident managing reconciliations, settlements, and stakeholder queries
*Strong attention to detail with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment
