Full job descriptionA successful and expanding organisation is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Credit Controller to join its growing finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with Credit Control or Accounts Receivable experience who enjoys taking responsibility, building strong stakeholder relationships, and making a real impact within a supportive business environment. Working as part of a close-knit finance team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end credit control process, helping to ensure outstanding debts are collected efficiently and cash flow remains healthy. You will liaise directly with customers to secure payments, resolve account queries, and maintain strong professional relationships. The role will involve monitoring aged debt, allocating receipts, reconciling customer accounts, and taking appropriate action to minimise overdue balances.You will also work closely with colleagues across the business to investigate discrepancies, improve processes, and contribute to the ongoing success of the finance department.
Ideally you will have:
*Previous experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable, with a track record of managing customer accounts and reducing overdue debt
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to negotiate payment solutions and handle customer queries professionally
*Excellent organisational abilities, capable of managing a busy ledger and prioritising workloads effectively
*A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to contribute to the wider team and continuously develop professionally
