Part-Time – 2 Days per Week (Term Time Only)
Tonbridge, Kent
Start: September 2026
Salary:
*£19,000 – £24,000 FTE (pro rata)
*Equivalent to approximately £95 – £120 per day (dependent on experience)
An excellent independent school in Tonbridge, Kent is looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with SEMH needs.
You will play a key role in supporting emotional regulation, engagement, and academic development in a structured and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide consistent 1:1 support
*Support emotional wellbeing and behaviour
*Adapt resources and support learning
*Encourage independence and confidence
*Work collaboratively with staff
Requirements:
*At least 2 years’ school experience
*SEN experience (SEMH desirable)
*Patient and proactive approach
*Independent school experience beneficial
