Part-Time – 3 Days per Week (Term Time Only)
Tonbridge, Kent
Start: September 2026
Salary:
*£19,000 – £24,000 FTE (pro rata)
*Equivalent to approximately £95 – £120 per day (dependent on experience)
A highly regarded independent school in Tonbridge, Kent is seeking a committed and experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a primary-aged pupil with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs.
This role involves providing tailored, consistent support to help the pupil access learning, regulate emotions and develop independence within a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide dedicated 1:1 classroom support
*Support emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
*Adapt learning materials to individual needs
*Work closely with the SENCO and teaching team
*Encourage independence and engagement
Requirements:
*Minimum 2 years’ school-based experience
*Experience supporting SEN pupils (SEMH ideal)
*Calm, consistent and nurturing approach
*Independent school experience beneficial
