Full job description QTS Teacher Required – 1:1 Tuition (In-Person)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Teacher (QTS) to provide 1:1 tuition for a child currently out of school. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to a young learner’s education and wellbeing.
Role Details
*Location: In-person (local area)
*Pay: £35 per hour
*Hours: Flexible – part-time and full-time opportunities available
? Key Responsibilities
*Plan and deliver engaging Maths and English sessions aligned with the National Curriculum
*Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs
*Assess progress, track development, and adjust strategies accordingly
*Build a positive, supportive learning environment to re-engage the pupil
*Liaise effectively with:
*Local Authority
*Case workers and professionals
*Parents/carers

*Provide reports and updates on pupil progress
Requirements
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
*Experience working with children with additional needs or those out of mainstream education (desirable)
*Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
