You will work for a dynamic and rapidly growing media company based in North West London. The team is passionate about delivering high-quality content across various platforms and are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join the small Finance team and support continued business growth.


Your new role
This is a newly created role, working alongside the Finance Director. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
*Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
*Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
*Conducting variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
*Assisting with the preparation of financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
*Reconciliation of bank statements.
*Managing accounts payable and receivable.
*Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
*Collaborating with other departments to gather financial information and support business decision-making.
*Assisting in the preparation for audits and liaising with external auditors as required.
*Performing ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as needed.


What you’ll need to succeed
You will evidence recent, relevant experience in a similar Assistant Accountant/Management Accountant role. The client is looking for someone who is eager to learn, roll their sleeves up, and be part of a small yet high-achieving finance team.
