Full job descriptionMy market-leading client, based in the Lymm, Warrington area, is currently looking to recruit an HGV Wash Operative to join their friendly and established team on a temporary to permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful family-run business with a long-standing reputation within their industry. The role would suit a hardworking, reliable individual who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and can deliver excellent customer service.
Basic Salary: £31,365
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 – 17:00 PLUS Working 1 in 2 Saturdays 07:00 – 11:30
Pay & Benefits:
*Earnings of approximately £36,000 per annum
*Working outdoors within a supportive team environment
*28 days annual leave
*Additional half-day holiday for your birthday
*Christmas shutdown from Christmas through to New Year
*Full uniform provided

Responsibilities:
*Greeting and welcoming customers in a polite and professional manner.
*Working as part of a team to ensure all vehicles are cleaned to a high standard.
*Operating wash equipment including brushes, soaps and pressure lances.
*Running and monitoring vehicle wash machines.
*Directing traffic around the site to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
*Assisting with site closing procedures, including equipment shutdown and preparation for adverse weather conditions.
*Carrying out general site maintenance duties, including litter collection, emptying bins and ensuring communal areas remain clean and tidy.
*Maintaining high standards of customer service and site presentation at all times.
*Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
Specification:
*Hardworking, reliable and dependable individual.
*Friendly and approachable with strong customer service skills.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
*Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
*Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
