Full job descriptionFreelance Site Manager - Education Refurbishment Project - Liverpool
We are looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee an education refurbishment project in Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised Site Manager with a proven track record of delivering refurbishment projects safely, on programme, and to a high standard, ideally within live educational environments.
Contract Details*Location: Liverpool
*Start Date: 13th July
*Duration: Until October
*Working Hours: Day shifts, Monday to Friday
*Contract Type: Freelance
Key Responsibilities*Manage the day-to-day running of the site.
*Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades.
*Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
*Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.
*Liaise with the client, design team, and Contracts Manager.
*Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings.
*Monitor progress, resolve site issues, and keep accurate site records.
*Manage deliveries, logistics, and programme compliance.
Essential Requirements*Proven experience managing education refurbishment projects.
*Experience overseeing structural steelwork.
*Valid SMSTS.
*Valid CSCS Card.
*Valid First Aid at Work certificate.
*Valid Fire Marshal certificate.
*Enhanced DBS certificate issued within the last 2 years.
*Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
*Strong understanding of current health & safety legislation.
