We are seeking a Design Technology to join our team from September, covering a diverse curriculum that includes Engineering and Food Technology. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who has delivered lessons at both KS3 and KS4 levels.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Engineering and Food Technology to students at KS3 and KS4 levels.
*Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards.
*Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
*Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
*Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
*Attend staff meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in teaching Engineering and/or Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 levels.
*Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching standards.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to engage and inspire students.
*Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school and students.
*Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
