Must have’s*Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a claims management or team leader role within commercial insurance
*Strong background in insurance broking and commercial claims handling
*Experience leading, coaching and developing teams
*Strong understanding of insurance principles and regulatory/legal frameworks
*Confident managing performance, MI reporting and operational workflows
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Nice to have’s*Cert CII qualification (or working towards)
*Experience working across multiple office locations or regional teams
*Exposure to complaints handling and regulatory escalation processes
*Experience using performance dashboards and MI tools
So, what will you be doing?Team Leadership & Performance*Leading, coaching and mentoring a commercial claims team
*Running regular 1–2–1s, performance reviews and development plans
*Driving a culture of accountability, high performance and continuous improvement
*Supporting recruitment, onboarding and performance management activity
Claims Operations*Overseeing day-to-day claims operations and workflow management
*Supporting resolution of complex claims and escalations
*Managing complaints in line with regulatory requirements
*Working closely with Compliance, HR, L&D and Broking teams
Performance & Reporting*Producing and reviewing claims MI and performance reports
*Identifying trends, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
*Using data and dashboards to improve efficiency and service delivery
*Supporting audits and ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance
Stakeholder & Client Focus*Building strong internal and external relationships
*Working closely with client servicing teams to improve client outcomes
*Acting as an escalation point for complex issues
*Ensuring consistently high levels of client service across the team
