*Job Type: Part-time 6.00am - 9.00am, Temporary (2 - 3 months)
*Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour (PAYE)
Sheffield City Council are looking for a Part-Time Cleaning Operative for a temporary assignment lasting 2-3 months. The role is based in the Moorfoot Building and involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in office environments.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Clean various areas within the Moorfoot Building, including offices, kitchens, and toilets.
*Responsibilities include wiping desks, emptying bins, hoovering, mopping floors, and cleaning glass surfaces.
*Maintain showers and other communal areas to a high standard of cleanliness.
*Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and in a manner that complies with health and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous cleaning experience is essential.
*Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
*Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
*Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing a high standard of cleanliness.
*Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
*A professional demeanor with a focus on efficiency and time management.
