Full job descriptionOur client, a leading company is currently seeking a Data Privacy Manager on a contractual basis. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to support and lead critical data privacy initiatives within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:*Support delivery of a GDPR and data privacy uplift programme
*Lead and contribute to DPIAs, data risk assessments, and remediation actions
*Manage and support SARs / DSARs and associated workflows
*Maintain and update Records of Processing Activities (RoPA)
*Support privacy incident and breach management where required
*Work closely with legal, IT, security, and operational stakeholders
*Ensure practical application of UK GDPR and ICO guidance
*Contribute to policies, procedures, and privacy-by-design approaches
Job Requirements:
Essential:
*Proven hands-on data privacy / data protection experience
*Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR
*Experience supporting privacy uplift or compliance programmes
*Comfortable operating in contract / interim environments
*Able to work independently with minimal onboarding
*Confident, business-facing communicator

Highly Desirable:
*Experience in regulated, healthcare, retail, or large complex organisations
*Use of privacy tooling (e.g. OneTrust or similar)
