Full job descriptionWe are recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join a successful and growing operation in Reading. Key Responsibilities:As a key member of the transport team, you will:
*Deliver and collect powered access machinery, plant equipment, forklifts, and other specialist machinery
*Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects promptly
*Ensure deliveries and collections are completed safely, professionally, and on time
*Load, secure, and transport equipment in line with company procedures and legal requirements
*Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately
*Provide excellent customer service when visiting client sites
*Adhere to all transport legislation and health & safety regulations
What we’re looking for:To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
*A valid Class 2 licence
*Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) card
*CPC qualification
*Experience as a Truck Driver or within a transport-based role
*Ideally experience within Powered Access, Plant, Hire, Crane, Forklift, or Agriculture sectors
*Applications are also welcomed from experienced Driver professionals with a strong Class 2 background
*A professional attitude with a strong focus on safety and customer service
