Salary: Dependent upon experience
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Working Hours: 07:30 – 16:30 Monday – Thursday (30 mins break) / 07:30 – 14:00 Friday (30 mins break)
We are seeking a Die Cutter to join our dynamic production team. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A background in die-cutting operations would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
*Set up and operate die-cutting machinery safely and efficiently.
*Complete and record daily machine health and safety pre-use checks according to the prescribed health and safety protocol for each machine.
*Read and interpret job specifications and production schedules.
*Manual handling of raw materials into the machine.
*Ensure machine key performance indicators (KPI’s) and specified run rates are achieved
*Record all daily outputs, waste, and any production issues on production timesheet.
*Job rotation with other machines to cover absence when required.
*Ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
*Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
*Monitor production output and minimise waste.
*Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
*Work closely with production and quality teams to meet deadlines.
*Adopt a flexible approach to ensure business requirements are met.
*Adhere to company policies and procedure at all times.
*Any other reasonable request made by management team.
About you:
Essential Experience:
*Some experience operating an automatic die-cutting machine would be preferable.
*Strong understanding of production processes and quality control.
*Ability to read technical drawings and job instructions.
*Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Good communication skills and great team player.
*Flexible approach to overtime when required.
Desirable Experience:
*Experience with Bobst or similar die-cutting equipment.
*Knowledge of health and safety regulations within manufacturing.
