About the Role
A dynamic and growing lettings business is looking to appoint a proactive and organised Property Manager to join its team in Peterborough.
This is a varied role, managing a portfolio of primarily single-let residential properties, with some exposure to HMOs. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high standard of service to both landlords and tenants, ensuring properties are well maintained, compliant, and efficiently managed.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage a portfolio of residential rental properties, overseeing day-to-day maintenance and repairs
*Coordinate works with contractors, ensuring completion to a high standard, on time and within budget
*Carry out property visits including check-ins, check-outs, inspections, inventories, and occasional viewings
*Manage tenancy renewals, move-ins, and move-outs
*Ensure properties remain fully compliant with current legislation and safety regulations
*Maintain accurate property records and support general lettings administration
Requirements
*Minimum of 12 months’ experience in property management (essential)
*Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
*Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
*Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
*Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
*Experience with HMOs is advantageous but not essential

Working Hours
*Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
*Every second Saturday on a rota basis
Location
Primarily office-based, with travel required to properties within approximately a 50-mile radius of Peterborough.
