Assistant Management Accountant Liverpool City Centre
£30,000 - £35,000 + benefits
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a well-established and growing organisation based in Liverpool city centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their finance career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
The RoleReporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the production of accurate financial information and contributing to the day-to-day running of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities*Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
*Supporting balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
*Handling accruals and prepayments
*Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes
*Working with operational teams to provide financial insight
*Supporting year-end audit preparation
*Processing journals and maintaining accurate financial records
*Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
About You*AAT qualified or part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
*Previous experience in a finance or accounting role
*Strong Excel skills and good attention to detail
*Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
*Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
