Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established freight forwarding company for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their team, working with high-value goods.
Key Responsibilities:*Handling and processing high-value freight shipments
*Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
*Checking, labelling, and preparing goods for dispatch
*Operating a forklift to move and store stock (valid licence required)
*Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate records
*Ensuring all goods are handled in line with security procedures
*Working closely with the warehouse and operations team
*Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:*Previous warehouse experience (freight/logistics preferred)
*Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach)
*Experience handling high-value or secure goods is an advantage
*Full UK driving licence preferred
*Good attention to detail and reliability
*Ability to work well as part of a team
What’s on Offer:*Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience
*Monday to Friday working hours
