Full job descriptionWe are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative. You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely picking, packing, and dispatch of goods while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
Goods In & Out
*Receive incoming deliveries, check quantities, and report any discrepancies
*Ensure all delivery paperwork is processed and passed to the Warehouse Manager
*Operate a forklift to safely load, unload, and store goods
*Prepare and load courier collections each day, ensuring all labels and documentation are accurate
Picking & Stock Control
*Accurately pick and pack customer orders
*Dispatch goods with the correct paperwork and packaging
*Maintain organised storage by sorting and stacking stock neatly
*Monitor stock levels and report low stock to management
Housekeeping
*Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy warehouse at all times
*Carry out regular cleaning duties including sweeping, dusting, and waste removal
General Duties
*Assist with answering phones and taking messages when required
*Prepare sample packs as needed
*Support the wider team with ad hoc duties to meet business needs
About You
*Previous warehouse experience preferred
*Valid forklift licence (desirable)
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Good organisational skills
*Positive, flexible attitude with a willingness to help
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
