Description
*Prepare and manage budgets, including forecasting and financial planning activities.
*Responsible for grant reporting and internal grant allocation
*Oversee financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
*Monitor cash flow and provide insights to support organisational decision-making.
*Maintain and improve financial policies, systems, and procedures.
*Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of financial goals with operational objectives.
*Handle audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
*Support grant management processes, including financial tracking and reporting.
*Provide financial advice to leadership to aid strategic planning.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
*Professional Accountancy qualification, eg ICAS, CIMA, ACCA, etc
*Proven experience in financial management within the Not For Profit or public sector.
*Strong knowledge of financial compliance and reporting standards.
*Understanding of Grant Funded organisations
*Proficiency in financial software and tools, XERO would be advantageous.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Job Offer
*Daily rate between £270 and £330, depending on experience.
