Whether you’ve supported children with additional needs before or you’re looking to begin a rewarding career in education, you’ll be joining a team that values your contribution and supports you every step of the way.
What your day might look like Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small group activities
Encouraging children to build confidence, independence, and engagement in learning
Using creative and practical approaches to meet individual learning needs
Helping children develop emotional regulation and positive routines
Working alongside teachers, support staff, and families to achieve the best outcomes
What we’re looking for A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
A calm, nurturing, and encouraging approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
Previous SEND experience or transferable skills from care, youth work, coaching, or support roles, beneficial but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
