You will be working in the Building Services OU based across St Barts and Royal London Hospital in where we are responsible for bringing Skanska’s purpose to build for a better society to life-creating healthy workplaces, comfortable homes and efficient facilities that improve people’s lives. Through collaboration and innovation, we deliver high-quality solutions that make a lasting, positive impact for people and communities.
We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator who will provide day to day support to the Capital Projects team on various elements of ongoing and new variations, construction projects and Lifecycle works for both the St Barts and Royal London Hospitals. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.
As the Project Coordinator, you will:
*Analyse and familiarise yourself with the specification and requirements of each project and collate key information to ensure that formal response times, Programs and Key Performance Indicators are maintained and notified to the Capital Projects team and reported to our client.
*To ensure that key communications, planning and meetings are notified and recorded accurately and liaise with relevant stakeholders at all stages of each project.
*Ensure project tracker, IT system drives and files are maintained to a high standard with each item relevant to the project located in the correct section.
*To establish and maintain contacts within the hospitals, with contractors, suppliers and statutory bodies as required to provide high standards of estate care and 12 month defect management.
*To update and amend Asset Capture, completion certificates and Operation & Maintenance records ready for distribution to the client and operational maintenance team.
We are looking for:
*Knowledge of new build and refurbishment projects in construction environment.
*Knowledge of CAFM systems.
*Excellent communication skills across all elements of the sector.
*Ability to work alone, schedule own workload and prioritise as necessary.
*The Post Holder will have experience and knowledge of the Estates & Facilities functions within a hospital environment or similar. They will be able to demonstrate a background in technical coordination; will be familiar with project control procedures and have an ability to communicate with staff and colleagues at all levels and disciplines.
