We’re recruiting for a Group Accountant to join a growing organisation. Sitting within a high-performing finance team, this position offers a blend of management reporting, financial analysis, business partnering and process improvement, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a visible impact across the wider business.
The Role:Reporting into senior finance leadership, you’ll be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting across multiple group entities while providing meaningful insight to support operational and strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Leading the month-end close process and production of management accounts
*Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring financial integrity across group entities
*Producing detailed profit and loss and balance sheet analysis, investigating variances and identifying key trends
*Acting as a Finance Business Partner to operational stakeholders, providing support, challenge and commercial insight
*Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle, including presentations to senior leadership
*Working closely with key stakeholders across the business to improve reporting and drive performance
*Contributing to finance transformation initiatives, systems improvements and ERP projects
*Supporting the implementation and maintenance of group accounting policies and controls
About You:We’re keen to speak with qualified finance professionals who enjoy combining strong technical accounting skills with a commercial and collaborative approach.
You’ll ideally have:
*ACCA or CIMA qualification (essential)
*Experience within a management accounting, group accounting or finance business partnering role
*Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
*A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
*Advanced Excel skills and strong systems knowledge
*The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and evolving environment
