Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe’re looking for a reliable, safety-focused Access Platform Operator to join our team. You’ll be responsible for operating powered access equipment across a variety of sites, supporting safe and efficient lifting and access solutions.
We’re open to candidates with different licence levels — whether you’re experienced on 3.5t, 7.5t, or Class 2 (Category C) — as long as you hold a valid IPAF qualification and have hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
*Operate access platforms (truck-mounted and/or self-propelled) safely and efficiently
*Carry out daily pre-use checks and basic equipment inspections
*Follow IPAF guidelines and company safety procedures at all times
*Work closely with site teams to plan and deliver access requirements
*Complete daily paperwork and logs accurately
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
*Valid IPAF certification
*Full UK driving licence (3.5t, 7.5t or Class 2)
*Previous experience operating access platforms
*Strong awareness of health & safety practices
*Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
*Experience with a variety of access equipment or lifting machinery
*Basic mechanical knowledge for routine checks
