Full job descriptionAn experienced Lettings Manager is required to lead and develop a growing lettings operation in Barnes. The role combines business development, property valuations and day-to-day lettings management while delivering a high standard of service to landlords and tenants.

Taking ownership of the lettings function, the successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, winning instructions and overseeing the entire lettings process. Strong market knowledge, commercial awareness and excellent relationship-building skills are essential to drive growth, ensure compliance and maintain exceptional customer service standards.

What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Lettings Manager:
*Generate new business opportunities through networking, relationship building and local market activity
*Conduct lettings valuations and secure new instructions from landlords
*Manage the end-to-end lettings process, including marketing properties and conducting viewings
*Coordinate tenancy agreements, renewals and associated documentation
*Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors
*Ensure compliance with current lettings legislation and monitor local market trends
What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience):
*Minimum of three years’ experience within lettings and/or property management.
*Strong understanding of current lettings legislation and the Renters’ Rights Act.
*Proven ability to win business and build a pipeline of new opportunities.
*Experience using property portals, CRM systems and property management software.
*Commercial awareness and strong negotiation skills.
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*Proactive, organised and customer-focused approach.
