Full job descriptionSupply Science Teacher - Warrington - September Start
Academics, a reputable education recruitment agency, is seeking passionate and driven Secondary Science Teachers for a variety of daily, short-term, and long-term supply placements at supportive secondary schools across the Warrington area.

Role Overview
Deliver & Engage: Deliver high-quality, engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with potential KS5 opportunities).
Adaptability: Seamlessly step into different science departments to cover day-to-day, short-term absences, or planned long-term leaves.
Progress: For longer-term roles, monitor student progress, mark work, and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.
Classroom Management: Maintain high standards of behavior and foster a positive, productive learning environment, ensuring continuity of learning.
Requirements
Qualifications: A degree in a Scientific discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or general Science) and/or UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/ECT).
Experience: Previous experience teaching the UK Science curriculum at the secondary school level.
Skills: Excellent classroom management, adaptability, strong communication skills, and the ability to make complex scientific concepts accessible.
Compliance: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
Location: Based in or easily able to commute to Warrington.
