Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 and Level 3 Childcare/Early Years Practitioners to join our team on a flexible daily supply basis across a range of welcoming and supportive nurseries in Kingston and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified Early Years professionals seeking flexible work while gaining experience across a variety of nursery settings. Whether you’re looking for full-time supply work or just a few days each week, we can offer assignments that fit around your availability.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will support children aged 0-5 years, helping to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and develop in line with the EYFS framework.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:*A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or an equivalent qualification (essential)
*Previous experience working within nursery or EYFS settings
*A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
*A caring, positive, and flexible approach
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:*Supporting children’s learning and development through engaging, play-based activities
*Assisting with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and outdoor play
*Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and communication development
*Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment
*Working closely with nursery staff to meet the individual needs of all children
