Responsible to: SENCO
Purpose of the Role
To support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in accessing learning, developing independence, and achieving their full potential in a safe and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities*Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEN.
*Assist teachers in delivering inclusive learning.
*Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
*Help implement individual learning and support plans.
*Promote safeguarding, inclusion, and positive behaviour.
Person Specification*Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (desirable).
*Good communication and teamwork skills.
*Patient, caring, and reliable.
*GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
