A successful franchise business operating two car repair body shops, with a staff of 50 across two sites in South London and Sussex, is looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join them at their main office in South London.
This is a dynamic role where you will act as the financial linchpin supporting both sites, ensuring financial accuracy and seamless communication across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage daily bookkeeping (AP/AR, bank reconciliations, data entry)
*Support payroll processing and expenses for the team
*Liaise between our two sites to keep financial records perfectly aligned
*Assist with monthly reporting and year-end audit preparation
*Respond to vendor enquiries and maintain positive supplier relationships.
Qualifications & Skills:
*AAT level 3 or equivalent
*A proven background as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounts role
*Strong proficiency in Excel, Sage and Xero
*A good understanding of the principles of double-entry bookkeeping
*Excellent organisational and time management skills, plus a keen eye for detail
*Ideally, Motor Trade experience, but not essential
*Good organisational and time-management skills
*Strong communication skills.
