Macildowie are working with this client based in Hinckley to recruit an experienced Sales Executive within the apparel and accessories sector.
If you’re a commercially minded sales professional with experience in apparel, fashion or merchandise, this is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of business development activity while working with well-known retail customers, licensing partners and music industry clients.
The Role
*Driving new business growth across retail, music merchandise, touring and licensing markets.
*Building long-term relationships with buyers, merchandisers, licensing partners and key stakeholders.
*Identifying opportunities to expand product ranges and maximise account growth.
*Managing pricing, margins, sales forecasting and overall commercial performance.
*Working closely with design, production and operations teams to deliver projects efficiently.
*Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and consumer behaviour to identify new opportunities.
*Leading customer meetings, presentations and business reviews.
*Managing customer orders, project timelines and critical paths to ensure successful delivery.
The ideal candidate:
*At least two years’ experience in business development, sales or account management within apparel, fashion, merchandise or a related industry.
*A proven track record of identifying and converting new business opportunities.
*Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage pricing, margins and sales performance.
*Experience working within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
*Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
*The ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously.
*Strong analytical and organisational skills.
*Knowledge of music merchandise, licensing, touring or promotional products would be advantageous.
*Good Microsoft Office skills.
*A full UK driving licence.
