We are looking for an experienced Production Scheduler to join a well-established aerospace manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong manufacturing background who enjoys coordinating production activities, maintaining efficient workflows and ensuring customer delivery requirements are achieved.
The business manufactures precision aerospace components and is looking to strengthen its production planning team due to continued growth.
This role would suit a candidate with previous experience in production scheduling within a manufacturing environment who is highly organised, detail-oriented and confident working closely with production and management teams.
Key Responsibilities:*Produce and maintain production schedules to support manufacturing operations.

*Work closely with the management team to ensure production plans are delivered efficiently.

*Coordinate production activities to maximise workflow and on-time delivery.

*Monitor production progress and update schedules where required.

*Utilise MRP systems to support production planning and material availability.

*Manage and prioritise Work to Lists (WTLs) to meet production requirements.

*Liaise with production, stores and other departments to resolve scheduling issues.

*Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety procedures and maintain 5S standards.

*Support continuous improvement initiatives across the production function.

Key Skills:*Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Production Scheduler within a manufacturing environment.

*Good understanding of production scheduling and MRP systems.

*Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes from raw material through to finished product.

*Understanding of production routing and manufacturing operations.

*Experience managing Work to Lists (WTLs).

*Excellent organisational and planning skills.

*Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

*Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with production and management teams.

*Commitment to safe working practices and maintaining 5S standards.

Desirable Skills:*Experience within an aerospace or precision engineering manufacturing environment.

*Familiarity with ERP/MRP planning systems.

*Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
