A leading specialist Family Law practice is looking to appoint an experienced Family Solicitor to join its established team in Horsham. Role Summary
This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious Family Solicitor looking to take the next step within a specialist practice recognised for handling high-quality and often complex family matters. Working alongside experienced leaders in the field, you will manage your own caseload while contributing to the continued growth of the team through networking, business development and exceptional client care. The firm places significant emphasis on collaborative practice and non-court dispute resolution, whilst still offering exposure to a varied mix of litigation where appropriate.


Key Responsibilities
*Manage a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters including divorce, financial remedy proceedings, private children matters and cohabitation disputes.
*Deliver exceptional client care, providing pragmatic and commercially focused advice throughout each matter.
*Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, referrers and professional contacts to support continued growth.
*Play an active role in networking, business development and profile-raising activities across the local market.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues on complex matters, including mediation and alternative dispute resolution where appropriate.
*Supervise and support junior lawyers and contribute to the ongoing development of the wider team.


Requirements
*Qualified Solicitor with 6+ years PQE in Family Law (applications from 2–5 PQE with strong experience will also be considered).
*Strong experience managing privately funded family matters independently.
*Excellent technical knowledge across financial remedy, private children and relationship breakdown matters.
*A genuine interest in dispute resolution and collaborative approaches to family law.
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
*Commercially aware with an interest in business development and networking.
*A collaborative, supportive approach and commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
