We’re looking for caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Children’s Outreach Support Workers to provide 1:1 and 2:1 support to children and young people with learning disabilities in the community.
No two days are the same. Whether you’re supporting a child to access activities they enjoy, develop independence, build confidence, or simply have fun in the community, you’ll be making a genuine difference to their lives.


What You’ll Be Doing
*Providing person-centred support tailored to each child’s individual needs.
*Supporting children and young people to access community activities, clubs, parks, leisure centres, and social opportunities.
*Encouraging independence, confidence, and life skills.
*Supporting communication using individual communication methods where required.
*Promoting emotional wellbeing and positive relationships.
*Maintaining accurate records and reporting any safeguarding concerns.
*Supporting children with behaviours that may challenge using positive behaviour support approaches.


About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
*Compassionate, patient, and understanding.
*Can plan sessions and use own initiative
*Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently as well as 2:1
*A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
*Committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.


Essential Requirements
*Experience supporting children or young people with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD or additional needs.
*Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
*Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
*Right to work in the UK.


Desirable
*NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, Children & Young People’s Workforce, or equivalent.
*Experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, sensory needs, or complex behaviours.
*Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle and Business Insurance
